Our Head Coach for 2024 is Ms. Emily Turek. This is Coach Emily's second year with us. We are excited to kick off another great year!
Hello my name is Emily Turek and I am so excited to be the head coach for the Palmerton Porpoises this summer! I am currently finishing my second year teaching Kindergarten in the Palmerton Area School District. I am so excited to be back by the pool. Growing up I swam for the Whitehall Waves summer league from ages 8-18. I also was a lifeguard and swim instructor while in college. I look forward to a summer filled with helping the kids set goals, make memories and most importantly have fun!
Assistant Coach - Coach Jason
Hello! This will be my first year coaching on the Palmerton Porpoises, and I am very excited. Growing up I played a lot of sports including soccer, basketball, baseball, track and football. I was a preschool teacher for 4 years, and spent two summers working with kids ages 6-13 in an outdoor recreation setting. Although I never swam competitively, I do love the sport. I enjoy swimming for recreation and exercise. My daughter has been swimming for the past three years, and my son just started this past winter. I look forward to helping our young athletes grow as swimmers and to have fun doing it!
